Visual Art is a core subject in Years 7 and 8 at Mount Rowan. Students develop skills using a wide range of mediums, techniques and art forms.

They create two and three dimensional artworks and have opportunities to work individually and in groups. Students also study the work of other artists and learn about art and culture through targeted theory work associated with practical lessons. In year 9 and 10 students have electives to choose from such as: digital art, visual communication, 2D art and 3D art (please note: the elective system can alter with semesters and year levels of 9 and 10).
